Who publishes this site
GrandAm Trivia is an independent quiz library published by Irene K Walsh, 34 Fleming Place, Bracknell, RG12 2GL, United Kingdom. The phone number is 7344686663. For a privacy question, write to grandamtrivia@gmail.com, or use the contact page.
What you do not have to give us
There is no account, no password, and no mailing list. The site does not ask for your age, your location, or a photograph. There is no comment box and no public profile. We do not sell a list of readers, because the site does not keep one.
What stays on your device
If you finish a quiz, this browser can remember your best score and how many quizzes you have finished. If you choose Large or Larger type, that choice is remembered too. An unfinished round can be remembered until you close the browser tab, so a refresh does not wipe it.
Those notes live in local storage and session storage on your device. They are not sent to GrandAm Trivia. Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, removes them. You can keep playing either way. The quizzes do not require the saved score.
Cookies from this site
The quiz library itself does not set advertising cookies. The text-size setting and the scores use the browser's own storage, which is not the same thing as a cookie dropped by an ad network. Your chosen answers are not sent anywhere.
Visit counts
The publisher can turn on Google Analytics by placing a measurement ID in the site settings. Until that ID is filled in, this site does not call Google Analytics and does not send a visit count.
When the ID is filled in, Google Analytics receives that a page was opened, the name of the page, and how long the visit lasted. If you start or finish a quiz, it also receives the name of that quiz. It does not receive your name, your email address, or the answer you picked. The best score saved on this device stays on this device.
You can read how Google measures visits at Google's partner sites page. You can control ads personalization at Google Ads Settings.
If advertising is turned on
This site may display ads through Google AdSense. If ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this site and others. That is Google's technology, used under Google's rules.
You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google's advertising technologies page. You can control personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.
Ads, when they exist, are meant to sit outside the answer buttons. Playing does not require you to click an ad. Please do not click ads to support the site. Invalid clicks can cause the advertising to be switched off.
Visitors in the UK, the EEA, and Switzerland
If personalized ads are shown to people in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland, a certified consent message should be used. Google provides one inside AdSense, under Privacy and messaging. That message should be switched on before those personalized ads run. A homemade banner is not a substitute for it.
Children
The library is written for adults, including older adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Email you send us
If you write to the contact address, that message contains whatever you put in it, including your email address. Use it for a correction, a broken page, or a privacy request. Those messages are read by the person who publishes the site and are not added to a marketing list.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it. The current version is the one published here.
